After a start with tumblr (about 5 years of work) and then newtumbl (4 years) this will be, I hope, the last iteration of a project to display the best hardboiled images from magazine and book covers to film noir and movie stills and posters. All things crime and mystery related, from the first decades of the 20th C. to now. Some posts will be straight imports from tumblr, some will be upgraded images, and then new images. If newtumbl ever allows us to rescue those thousands of posts, they’ll show up here. Hope your enjoy!
