Crime SuspenStories #19 (#20) Cover Printer’s Proof and Vintage Cover Proof Print (EC, 1954). Johnny Craig’s classic hanging cover places this grisly EC book at #4 on Overstreet’s list of Top 10 Crime Comics. The original production materials included here show that Craig’s classic cover was originally intended for Issue #19, although published for #20. Included here are two items: a four-color one-sided printer’s proof that measures 8.5″ x 12.25″ and a sepia toned print of the cover art that measures 7.5″ x 10.75″.
